{Q} What should I wear?

{A} This is the number one question for every session type. No sweat, I’m here to help. The simple and easy answer is, whatever makes you feel comfortable. That can be anything especially because we all have different comfort levels. I do encourage whatever you choose, try it on before your session should you need to make a change. My go to items; (simple t-shirt + panties/boxers) (lingerie body suit) (high waisted panties + garter + hosiery) (oversized sweater/cardi + undies) (boxer briefs) (flowy robe). Don’t forget your accessories like jewelry, socks, hosiery, garters etc. I have a wardrobe style board that I can share with you if you’d like.

Some of my favorite places to shop:
SHEIN/SHEIN CURVY + PLUS
HIPS & CURVES

GILLY HICKS (for the softest cozy undies!)
AMAZON (I love the bodysuits I linked specifically but there are all sorts of great options for cheap! Be sure to check sizes and ratings!)

{Q} Can I have someone with me at my session?

{A} Absolutely. It helps calm nerves when you have someone who knows you at your side! I do ask that you limit this to the one person and that they do not interfere during the session. (posing, touching up, getting in the frame)

{Q} What do I need to do to prep my space for the session?

{A} You don’t need to do anything extra outside of typical tidying up for a clutter free space. Some clutter is normal and expected, but things like the remote, alarm clock, dog toys etc should be put away. I’ll also move things as needed while we work.

{Q} What should I do to prepare myself?!

{A} This one is important!

If your nails are chipped, you’ll have chipped nails in the photos. If you don’t like chipped nails (I do, I’m totally a 90’s grunge baby), be sure to have them touched up for the session. The same for hair color roots etc.

DRINK LOTS OF WATER! The entire week prior to your session. Drink drink drink. Nothing gives your skin the sexy glow we all want like water. Hydrate that epidermis from the inside out. I also suggest keeping your moisturizing routine on point. Don’t forget those heels and elbows friends. We all get ashy!

Tanning beds & spray tans? Leave them be. In my 10 years of experience, nothing is harder to edit than burned or fake tan skin. It’s okay if you glow brighter than Casper. Trust me on this.

Get that Spotify playlist ready! I’m happy to play my tunes but you’ll be able to ease into your comfort zone a lot easier with your music. I’m always adding to mine and you’re welcome to see what I’ve got playing here: Jess’s Boudy Jams

{Q} How much do you edit?

{A} Let me just start by saying that you’re going to look like yourself after this. I will take care of blemishes, under eye shadows and imperfections but we’re going for embracing your natural and true self. I do soften and smooth skin and it may lighten some things like stretch marks and wrinkles but not remove them. I’m definitely on team less is more when it comes to editing. We have textured skin and hair and that’s normal!

{Q} Is it ladies only or can guys take part too?

{A} This space is inclusive and everyone is welcome to participate regardless of gender or sexuality. We support, appreciate and love everyone here.

{Q} I don’t want to share my photos online. Is that okay?

{A} YES. That’s it. Whatever you’re comfortable doing with your photos, I support that shit. Your privacy is important to me and while I would LOVE to share your images on my website and social medias, it’s not required.

{Q} I need a drink before I just get all naked. Can I have alcohol during my session?

{A} If you provide it, absolutely! I understand the need to loosen up. I’m also 420 friendly. You do what you need to do to get into your groove.

{Q} I want to book a boudoir party! How does that work?

{A} Let’s gooooo! Boudoir parties are available if you and a few friends want to book at the same time. You + 2 or more friends book mini sessions and each of you receive a discount. The more that book, the bigger the discount! 3 person minimum. In home only.
